Wines from South-West, Cahors, Bergerac, Pécharmant, Bordeaux, wine from Rhône valley, Champagne Petit Triolet and Vin Paillé from Corrèze are proposed by la Combe de Job.
What is the best combination between wine and foie gras ?
Served as a starter or on toasts, the foie gras is delicious with sweet white wine, or Champagne. We suggest the Vin Paillé Blanc de Corrèze, served chilled.
You may also open a bottle of sweet Bergerac, Monbazillac or Sauterne. Let's try the wines of Rhône valley such as Saint-Joseph (available).
For a less traditional combination, you may choose red wine such as Bourgogne, Vosne Romanée that you serve between 14 and 16°.
La Combe de Job like the Correzian liquors from Denoix and we suggest various specialties : a Walnuts and Vanilla Rum, the liquor Denoiselle with fennel and juniper for great cocktails, the Fenouillette of Brive and the delicious Quinquinoix.
The Quinquinoix is an aperitif based on wine and green walnuts aged 5 years in oak barrels.
The Brewery Fonseca located in Objat offers artisanale beers : brown, blonde, amber or seasonal, such as Christmas beer or spring beer.
The apple juice from Corrèze made in Uzerche and the lemonade by Javoue.
